A celebrant-led ceremony offers freedom, creativity, and personalisation like no other. Unlike traditional religious or registry office services, I will work with you to design every detail of your ceremony. Here’s why people choose a celebrant:

• Flexibility: You can hold your ceremony anytime and just about anywhere—whether it’s a meadow at sunrise, a historic building, or your own back garden.  You really can have your ceremony just about anywhere before or after a short legal ceremony at the registry office.

In England and Wales, a celebrant cannot legally marry you.  To be legally married in England and Wales, you must have a short legal ceremony at the registry office, which can be done before or after the celebrant-led event.

Many couples choose to have a celebrant-led ceremony alongside a separate legal marriage with a registrar. This allows for a personalised celebration while still having a legally binding marriage. 

This will depend upon what you would like included in your ceremony. It’s a good idea to have a no obligation, initial consultation first.

It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for you to ask questions and for me to explain the process and everything that is included in my fees.

As a guide, weddings and other celebratory ceremonies are usually in the range of £850.
